The Book

Visions for Chicago, the “highly politicized public art project” organized by Daniel Tucker during the Chicago mayoral election season of 2010/11, was turned into a limited edition catalog by Green Lantern Press and can be ordered from their webstore here for $10 plus shipping and handling fees.

The publication features photos of the signs and signmakers by Tucker, Hillary Anne Strack and Lauren Cumbia.

Additionally there are Vision Statements written by 16 Chicagoans, an opening essay by Micah Maidenberg and a republished interview from the Art21 blog conducted by Abigail Satinsky.

The publication was produced with support from the Graham Foundation.

The book has been included in the Museum of Contemporary Art’s Artist Book collection.
